I have 6 French Black Cooper Maran chicks born May 25th, 2026 up for discussion. My rooster came from a local breeder hatched from a number 7 egg on the maran egg color chart. I purchased my hens from Hoover's hatchery. Their eggs are 4, 5, 6, 7 on maran egg color chart. If you are looking for dark egg layers these will lay dark eggs when mature. Located by Wilmont, MN
